I am so happy to have my couple back again. I actually turned off GH when it became clear the direction that they were taking with Jason/Liz pairing. I couldn't bear to watch, and that's saying a lot, since I had been a fan of the show since the late 70's. I was just so incredibly disgusted with the way the whole story was written. I am so glad that the writers and TPTB have finally seen the error in their ways and are bringing this wonderful pair back where they belong...together!!! I was also thrilled to hear that the actors were totally behind this pairing and were very unhappy with the way the break up was handled. I think it says a lot when the actors are passionate about the storyline and it plays out on the screen, which is only a good thing for their fans. Hopefully, this time the couple will get the story line that they and their fans deserve after having to suffer through the nonsense of the past two years. Here's to a nice long JaSam run, or as Guza has said in a recent interview here's to Sam and Jason "in it for the long haul"!!! And to all the JaSam fans out there...keep tuning in and keep staying vocal in your support for our couple!!! We know the Liason fans are out there crying foul, so we need to be just as vocal in our support of both characters!!!

I started watching GH because of Jason and Sam and their undeniable love for each other. I think he loved Elizabeth, but only as the mother of his child. His first proposal was because of the baby! He didn't leave Sam for Liz, even though he had every chance to after he found out about the baby. Nope, he stayed with Sam because he wanted to make it work with her! That's love. He wanted to be with her, baby or no baby!

OK whats with all the haters.. I have been watching GH for years..and hated when sam and jason broke up.. but I did not stop watching..maybe i slowed down a little because the whole jason and liz story sucked in my eyes..but i did not go around crying and yelling at people for likeing jason and liz..it's a soap and everyone gets a turn lol so back up Jason and Liz fans and let us Jasam fans have our fun now..

First of all, you're all fighting over a soap opera.
Second of all, to make things perfectly clear, ratings were at an all time high when Jason and Sam were together and completely dropped off when Steve Burton had no real story line. It's just just about Jason and Sam, or Jason and Liz. It's basically just about Jason. Also, there's other characters on General Hospital. So, to say that you'll stop watching a show that some have said they've watched for "YEARS" just because Jason, a character on a SOAP OPERA, gets back together with Sam, another character on a soap opera is beyond delusional.
Also, to say that Jason would NEVER be with Sam after she watched Jake get kidnapped is ludicrous. Let me take you all on a trip down memory lane to when Luke RAPPED Laura. And what did that become? Not only General Hospital's Power Couple, but the biggest Power Couple in all of time in Daytime TV. With that being said, stop whining and let "Jasam" reign on. :]

You can tell when jason and sam are around each other they still love each other, like many of you said he always smies around sam and liz can't accept his life style and sam does so if she knows and understands everything thats why they should be together but can't wait to watch then again. I read some spoilers in my soap opera digest book it say they will be hitting the sheets tuesday august 25 and you dont wanna miss this.

i started watching gh in 2005 when i was just fiteen years old with no friends or anyone to talk to when i found gh jasam i became so addicted to them and they gave me something i only expected to see in fairy tales. it's to sad if people choose not to see their chemistry because of some stupid mistakes.

Watching Liz and Jason is like watching paint dry. In fact Liz doesn't really seem to be able to muster any real chemistry with anyone they try to pair her with. The last time she succeeded was with the first Lucky. Jason and Sam are so much better suited for each other. Might I add it was sickening how Guza broke them up and how low they had to portray Sam to make it happen and make it feasible.

I'm so sick of hearing Liason fans say that they're giving up on GH or never coming back to a website just because Jasam is mentioned. No offense to any Liason fans, but how can they try and deny the amazing chemistry and connection that Jason and Sam have!?! Whenever i watch their scenes, such as while they were driving to Mexico, you could feel the love between the two, plus whenever Jason and liz are together, it feels like inscest and is sooo gross. Also how can anyone claim that Jason and Liz are supposed to be together when Liz is already going inbetween Lucky and Nikolas. In my opinion, Jason is reuniting with his soulmate, the one that he is meant to be with, so hopefully the writers don't try and attempt to do another summer of "sleaze" or as I like to say "burn our eyes out" and have their ratings go down again. GO JaSam!!!

It is pretty interesting the negative comments about Jasam's reunion. I have to say I am not a big Jiz fan because well it just never felt right to me. Liz and Jason make much better friends than lovers but in all honesty Jason betrayed Sam long before that night. He did not trust he could keep Sam safe after she got shot and almost died so he pushed Sam away and that is when all the trouble started and if anyone who is a fan of the show remembers Jason said the exact same thing to LuLu about what he regretted most in life. To understand the real history brought to this couple (and make no mistake even through the summer of sleaze it was part of their love story) will help any true General Hospital fan understand how they came back together as a couple. I mean Jasam was hot even during the summer of sleaze...wether they were longing for each other or screaming at each other they had a passion that was undeniable.

They both did hurtful things so neither Jason or Sam are without blame but to put all the blame on Sam well that is just Jiz fans being blind. Frons and Gauza are reminding all of us that forgiveness even in the face of very hurtful actions is the only way to truly allow yourself to love again. Make no mistake as much as the Jiz fans think that it is crazy for Jason to forgive Sam, We Jasam fans understand that they both had to forgive each other as well as themselves for all their hurtful actions and I believe that forgiveness started after Sam risked her life to save Jake. They both came to a place where they were able to start the healing process and it has certainly taken time for the two of them to become close again. I just love the way this story is unfolding!!!

In closing some of the greatest love stories that have been told on General Hospital are between characters who over the course of their relationship have committed some of the worse betrayals but they always come full circle. Jasam's love story will be no different.

Its about time, GH is finally getting better all thanks to jasam. I cant wait for them to be back together.

I'm sorry but fans of Liz are really mean about Sam. I know Sam watch Jake get kipnapped. But when he was in real danger ( the Russians) she did everything to save him. I caution people to remember that this is Robert Guza. Remember what he did during the So called Summer of Sleaze. Remember what he did to the characters during this time. Most definitely Jasam fans remember all the things he wrote Sam doing to end the relationship of Jasam. In recognizing that a hack writes this show who enjoys writing WTF scenarios that throw us for a loop. Be a little more humble in celebrating. You never know when he just might turn the screw in your direction again. That goes for all fanbases. After all this is GH.

i must say its about time! after boycotting GH since summer '06 it is refreshing to see i get my favorite daytime show back! its on its way by reuniting one of the best couples on the show and i can't say enough how excited i am! stelly's chemistry is out of this world and the love story of jason and sam is something that can't be replaced by trashy re-writes!

To the few Liason fans whose posts I read, whose tenure as fans seems to be about 10-12 years, I just have to say I've been watching for about 25 years and I can relate to the disillusionment of not seeing the couple you like BE the Destiny couple...I used to love Kendall and Aidan on AMC, but that didn't happen. BUT trust me, if you could but put yourself in the shoes of those who saw Jason for years have bland relationships that never fit the Jason Morgan his character became in the accident...you could appreciate the only real relationship that has ever brought that character to life...the one he developed with Sam, and you would get to feel the elation we Jasammers feel...the kind only experienced when a soap story just sits well and actually works naturally! Fighting the truth of the story that is being told just makes a mess of everything....like summer 06! When the writers don't compromise their integrity as storytellers, it really pays dividends. If it helps, just forget the last 3 years and just enjoy it the 2nd time around. I know JASAM fans had to just block out the twilight zone-esque nightmare that was the whole Liason thing just to get through these last years.

This is what I have been waiting for since they broke up, even though I did like LuSam together, I thought maybe they might work out, after some time, but I love JaSam together. I never liked Liason together, not this time around, I thought they were good before but not after she became a mother. No. I never thought Jason and Sam stopped loving one another, even when Jason threatened her, I knew it was all talk, that he would never, ever hurt her. He loved her all along, and she loved him. They were just both very angry with one another and hurt. I don't think Jason loved Liz in the way he loves Sam. He did love her, but it had to do with being the mother of his child. Liz and Jason were never right for one another, because she never could accept his lifestyle, whereas Sam is comfortable with it. Even when Sam was her maddest at Jason, if he needed her help to get out of a difficult situation. She had his back, and he had hers. They are soulmates, and they belong together. Their love was put away for awhile, but never gone, they just needed time to work through their bad times, so they can be together again. Their love is there and getting stronger every day. I do hope Jason gets some contact with Jake, but that they never revisit Liason again, besides it looks like she is getting with Nik now, she seems to be hanging around him more and more and giving the "I want you looks, like she did to Jason when he and Sam were having troubles. So I also hope Lucky gets a new love interest. I don't think Liz and Lucky should be together, not when she is lusting after his bro...Anyway, can't wait until JaSam become an official couple....

You can't fight who you are meant to really be with and for Jason it's Sam and only Sam. Finally after the bullshit "Summer of Sleaze" I'm glad that night is erased and jasam can start from the beginning and just love how slow their taking Jasam. it's how Jasam started and millions fell in love with them and the best part is that non Jasam fans loving jasam the second time around. JaSam= Passion,LOve,trust, chemistry, and amazing realationship.

I thought this week couldnt get any better after Monday's Jason and Sam scenes & hearing their song, but this has topped even that! It wasn't the real Jason that why saw whit Liz. He always looked so sad with Liz. With Sam he is laughing aigen. And yes what Sam did was bad but she was there to save Jake when he was really in danger. Don't forget that.

When people start talking about implausible story lines and the deterioration of daytime soaps, they should remember--gh is indeed a soap.
Yes, Jason is falling in love with the woman who watched as his son got kidnapped, but what Sam did pales in comparison with what other characters of GH do. She did something horrible, but I don't see other people yelling at Sonny or Carly after the countless times they endangered others (including children) for their own selfish needs. Out of all the characters who have shady pasts and committed terrible crimes, Sam actually has a conscience. She's the only one who regrets having done what she did. She even acknowledged countless times that the worst moment in her life (aside from her daughter's death) was when she watched Jake get kidnapped. Hmmm...a conscience that sounds plausible to me...at least more plausible than Jason "falling" for a woman who climbed how many floors in the dark to get to him, a woman who watched jealously and calculated quietly as Jason declared again and again that he was in love with Sam, a woman he barely looked at during the million times he was in the hospital, a woman who to now still has not admitted that maybe just maybe she deserves some of the blame for all that happened in 2006-2007.
And gh is not advocating kidnappings and violence as some like to believe. The return of Jasam reminds the audience of the power of redemption and atonement, which sends a much more moral message than leaving your fiance for a woman who lied and schemed for what many like to say--10 years.
So yes, Jason is falling in love with Sam, the woman who made a mistake and regretted it ever since, because after 5 years of knowing her and 3 years of actually living with her (omg they actually lived together!) he knows that she is not a sociopath kidnapper. Just like she knows he's not a psycho murderer who threatened to kill her.
Out of all the crazy storylines we've seen play out so far, falling in love with someone you loved passionately for 3 years and admitting all the mistakes you've made seems the most plausible. For one thing, a slow build makes a lot more sense than one drunken night.

Then again...this is just a soap about mobsters in a fictional city...some storylines are just more plausible than others...

Their is no couple that has the greater love story then Jasam. Sorry delusional jizzards, but 10 yrs of lizho stalking doesn't count as a great love story. Jason never loved that pathetic woman that is liz. Jason love for Sam is so strong it's like breathing. Get over it jizzards, there as boring as paint dry. JaSam has the whole package. move on and get a life.

but very happy to hear it. i hope they do jasam justice. they were one of the best in daytime and the last week has proven their chemistry is still strong. i'm hoping for a quality story here and i can not wait to hear them talk about all of their stuff. i've been waiting a long time!

Samantha McCall watching a child be abducted was the biggest rewrite of all. Second only to a woman of her age having time to woo, marry and fleece 5 men of their fortunes. She must have started in the 8th grade.

There was nothing shown or spoken of on the show that would lead anyone to think that Sam was capable of harming or allowing a child to be harmed. She wanted children. She was good with her sisters as well as Sonny's children. She was the best big sister to her cognitively impaired brother and a good friend to child-like Spinelli. Suddenly, this character, who helped Michael and Kristina over their emotional trauma and helped track down Michael when his own parents had given him up for dead, this character would let a child be kidnapped. The same child she encouraged Jason to accept and raise? It screams rewrite for the sole purpose of destroying the character because Kelly was supposed to be leaving.

It's odd that this particular rewrite is hardly ever mentioned when people start to complain about rewrites.

People talk about the show being ruined. Yet, where were all of these people in '06 when it seemed that everyone in the cast had taken crazy pills and was sleeping with the wrong person? Jason slept with Liz when he was obviously still crazy in love with Sam. Sam slept with a man she hated, because she felt she wasn't good enough and trying to destroy herself. Lucky (the cop!) was sleeping with Maxie to score stolen drugs. And fierce, confident, beautiful Maxie suddenly had so little self-respect that she had to bribe a man to sleep with her. The daughter of the police commissioner was stealing drugs from the hospital where she was volunteering so she could have sex with a married man. Please!!!!

Where was the outcry then? Why weren't the Liason and/or Jason fans disturbed by any of that? Answer: It got them their couple and it couldn't have happened any other way. So, so be it. It didn't matter to them if marriages/families were destroyed and characters were portrayed as schizophrenic idiots and sociopaths.

They justified it by saying that Liason had been in love for 10 years. Sure they were. Most times, they didn't notice when the other was in a room. They were busy living their own lives.

I am pretty certain that in the three years Jason had been with Sam, first as a friend, then as a lover, they spent more time together and knew one another better than Liason did in their whole 10 years. Jason lived with Sam for heavens sake. He built a life with her. It can't be compared to the occassional "Hey, how y'doing?" over the nurse's desk.

I say if the Jasam haters didn't mind the destruction of characters, marriages and families in order to destroy the couple, why the p*ssing and moaning now? Because it's not in your favor? Grievous wrongs are finally being righted. Characters are coming back to an even keel after being blown all over a stormy sea. Their fans are finally being vindicated and seeing some satisfaction because we knew what happened was a farce.

So, don't watch this couple if it gauls you so much that you didn't get what you want. Threaten and stamp your feet. But I will be watching and so will many others. Despite the destruction, a lot of us stuck with GH and we're still here. We snatch our balls and go home. I just think of this coming reunion as the sweet reward for hanging in there.

OMG about time this happens. Jasam have always had the most chemistry onscreen and no one can doubt that both characters laugh more, smile more, and talk more when they are in the same scene. Soooooooooo much chemistry! I love love love Jasam and the best part of this reunion is we can actually see their feelings for each other resurface and watch them discuss all the problems in their past...they will return stronger than before.

As for the two years of his relationship with Liz, Jason did love Liz but only has the mother of his son. But on a purely romantic level, there was never much chemistry. Plus Liz is going to be with Nik so everyone's moving on...

I've been waiting two years for the writers to realize the huge mistake they made when they split up Jason and Sam. It's fantastic to hear news of a reunion on the horizon! Tuning into GH this summer will finally be worth it after months of bland storylines.

Steve and Kelly sizzle in every scene with each other, and it's good to see that the writers aren't rushing Jason and Sam coming back together, but allowing them to slowly develop that relationship they once had. 2006 was a horrible year with both Jason and Sam being completely written out of character - but with these new scenes, they seems to be coming back to how they should be.

I can't wait!

This is what I watch soaps for. The couple that overcomes impossible odds, devastating past hurts and betrayals and finds what they lost; Finds that thing that made them so good together. I loved Jason and Sam from the beginning...loved their bickering back when she was with Sonny, loved their trust and friendship when she was pregnant, loved how they accepted and respected each other, loved how their love was so unbreakable that even when he couldn't remember her or their lives together he still loved her, and I loved that even never having had a love scene together after years together they were still the couple that showed each other the most love. I love the way they seamlessly slipped into the roll of partners in crime and friends despite all the hurt and anger that they once held toward each other over the way they ended. And I love that now Jason and Sam will finally get to acknowledge that their love never died, and actually show on are screens how much they still love each other.

Finally!!! These two were made for each other! Honestly, the whole good-girl bad-boy gig has been run into the ground until it reached China! Let's face it. JaSam belong together. As for the haters saying that this is the death of Jason Morgan...whatever. I bet none of you thought this when he lied to Sam about baby, then proposed to Liz while still with Sam, and then ILY to Liz. Hypocrites much?

Jason is no better than Sam. He's done a lot worse things than Sam has since he kills people for a living.

Anyways, bring on more Bonnie & Clyde and I hope JaSam reunite for real. They are loves of eachother's lives.

Jason and Sam have been one of the best couples that I have seen in a long time, they were amazing the first time and they are proving to be amazing again. The chemistry unbelievable with these too. So excited!!!!

Oh my gosh, I love Jason and Sam and I am so excited for this. I am so glad they are fixing the mistakes they made when they broke them up so tragically and horribly back in '07. They destroyed their characters back then and made them people that they are not, but I am so glad that the real Jason and Sam are coming back!! Jason and Sam have been the highlight of the week and I am so excited for more of their scenes!!! Their scenes have all been very cute and hilarious!!! I love them working together and I love the trust they share! As a GH fan I am so happy that the show is improving!!!!! Jason and Sam are where it's at and I can't wait to watch their relationship blossom and grow again. Bring on Jason and Sam!!!!!

Happy times again. After the summer of sleaze that destroyed one of the best love stories ever told, Jason and Sam's undying love is rekindled!! Hooray. I am so glad that they will have a chance to show the world what real love is, how it grows, and how it never dies. "I will never love anyone as much as I love you and I never will" I haven't forgotten that statement. I don't care what garbage was thrown in their paths. When two people feel that strongly, those feelings don't die!! I am soooo excited!!!! Jasam is love.

Thank you GH for making this JaSam fan happy! I cannot wait for a full blown reunion and I am pleased with what we have gotten so far! Bring it on!

I guess if Alan can threaten to Kill & actually try to Kill Monica & still end up the love of her life, then all can be rebuild. Luke raped Laura but look how that turned out. J.R. on AMC threatened & tried to kill Babe, but that didn't stop them from coming back.

Since Liz, Lucky, & Jason all forgave Maureen then it didn't surprise me that they forgave Sam for not reacting & coming forward. The goons in the park where the kid was in no 'Real' danger seemed like something easy to overcome. Three of these adults put that kid in danger at one time or another through this two years of baby drama for Jason, So for the angst to be over and Jason to come out of it is nice to see! I grew very bored of that box of pain.

It's nice to see pay off for fans when their characters get destroyed, and the destruction even went months past the Summer of Sleaze. Although that was ugly with everyone sleeping with folks who were in love with someone else, all because of deceit or alcohol. lol. Such is soaps!

Thank you GH for making this JaSam fan happy! I cannot wait for the full blown reunion.

As a fan of the show who has only been watching for the last year and a half... i've got to say, i'm excited to see this. I love the chemistry between Jason and Sam so much more than any other pairing on the show right now, and any pairing i've seen attempted with these characters in the time i've been watching.

I can't wait to see this! I'll certainly be tuning in!

So aptly titled-- 2006 was the Summer of SLEAZE.

As a long time Jason Morgan fan, he was written completely out of character starting in May of 2006. Finally, Jason is smiling, laughing and with someone who accepts him and his life.

Sam has been refreshing as of late as well. I hope they do this talk justice because they have a LOT to get out in the open.

Jasam has been the highlight of GH these past few days.
