The much anticipated SORAS'ing (Soap Opera Aging Syndrome) of two more children of General Hospital's Michael "Sonny" Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has finally come to fruition.
Sonny's daughter with District Attorney Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), Kristina, has been aged to rebellious 16 year old now played by Lexi Ainsworth. Sonny's son with Carly Jacks, Morgan, has been aged from 8 years old to a pre-teen at the age of 12. Morgan will now be played by Aaron Refvem. This announcement comes soon after the aging of their on-screen brother Michael. Newcomer Drew Garrett debuted on April 24th, taking over the role from Dylan Cash. After being comatose for over a year, Michael finally awakens to his cousin Lulu Spencer (Jule Marie Berman) by his bedside, on Monday, May 18th. The now teenage Michael has no memory of being shot and is quite pissed by some recent events.
Aaron Refvem is a newcomer to daytime, though he has appeared in several prime time series such as Two and a Half Men, Grey's Anatomy and The Cleaner. He's also appeared in several films, including, Room 314, The Basement, Cellmate, and most recently Opposite Day. The new aged Morgan will be first airing on May 12.
Sixteen year old Lexi Ainsworth is another newcomer to daytime, though has had her share of primetime work, having appeared on the popular WB series Gilmore Girls in 2005-06. She also appeared in Medical Investigations in 2005. Her most recent primetime appearance was on iCarly in 2007. In 2008, she portrayed Molly in the film Wild Child. Lexi debuts as Kristina in early June. So what does her TV mom think about having a teenaged daughter? "This could be good, actually. The audience will get past it quickly and there's great story potential," said Nancy Lee Grahn to TV Guide Magazine regarding the recast.
General Hospital's new class is not yet complete. According to TV Guide Magazine, Molly, the daughter of Alexis Davis and Ric Lansing, is also being recast, yet no final casting decision has been made.

wow lexi is totally hott i was watching general hospital the other day and saw this girl and when i found it 2 b kristina i thought whoa this girl is totally rocks. i look forward 2 seeing how it all turns out. she is already going in the right directions with some of the potential hott scenes i have already seen.the action with lexi should get hotter and hotter. |

ummmmmmm? IMO the new Kristina reminds me of Robyn Richards. I have to agree with Lauren. I mean Cam has been a small child forever. Jake being a little more grown up might be nice but then I would miss out on all of his birthdays that Jason is not allowed to attend. Also, what about Molly? Her sister is all grown up and yet she is still what one? Last I remember seeing her she was still in diapers. |

If they are aging Molly to 10 shouldnt the old Kristina (Kali Rodriguez) play her, she's around that age and is a beautiful actress. Great looking Kids They look like two great kids!Hopefully they can bring the zip back to the show!  I love that the new Morgan looks like he could be Sonny and /carly's son. And the new Kristina already has that rebelious look about her.she will most likely be the teen favorite! |
