No stranger to One Life to Live, Nathan Purdee returns to Llanview as Nora's ex husband, Hank Gannon. Purdee originated the role of street wise cop turned District Attorney in early 1992, but sadly left the role in 2003.
Since his departure in 2003, Purdee has had only a hand full of roles which included the role of Mr. Faston in a TV movie called Living in Captivity, and the role of a Sergeant in NBC's primetime series Law & Order. Prior to the role on ABC's One Life to Live, Purdee had roles on such series as Cheers, St. Elsewhere, and Dynasty.. Purdee had a couple roles in Daytime before he took the role on OLTL, including, Nathan Hastings on CBS' The Young and the Restless from 1985-1992, and the role of Jake on Santa Barbara in 1985. Along with television, Purdee can also be seen in his first feature film, called, The Return of Superfly, in which he shared the screen with Samuel L. Jackson.
Besides being an actor, Purdee also owns his own production company, Karmic Release, Ltd. He served as Executive Producer on a documentary film called, Wallowitch & Ross: THIS MOMENT. The documentary was named by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences as "one of the outstanding documentaries of the year," in 1999.
Nathan Purdee returns to Llanview on April 1st.
